Bakia is the data controller for information collected through the Plan of Life app ("the App"), available on iOS and Android.

2. DATA WE COLLECT

2.1 Data we do NOT collect

Your privacy is at the heart of Plan of Life. The following data remains ONLY on your device and is never sent to our servers:

2.2 Anonymous usage data

To improve the App, we use Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect anonymous and aggregated usage data, such as:

2.3 Device identifier (IDFA / Android Advertising ID)

On iOS, we request your permission through App Tracking Transparency (ATT) before accessing the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). On Android, the Android Advertising ID (GAID) may be accessed. This identifier may be used to analyze App usage and improve your experience. You can deny this permission at any time from your device settings without affecting the App's functionality.

2.4 Subscription data

Payments and subscriptions are managed entirely through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google). Bakia has no access to your banking or credit card data. Billing information is subject to Apple's or Google's privacy policies, as applicable.

2.5 Push notifications

If you enable reminders for your norms, we request permission to send you local notifications. These notifications are generated and managed on your own device. We do not collect information from the contents of those notifications.

2.6 AI setup assistant

When setting up your initial norms, you interact with an artificial intelligence assistant. The responses you provide during this conversation may be processed by an external LLM service to generate suggestions. These interactions are not permanently stored on our servers or associated with your identity.

6. STORAGE AND SECURITY

All your personal data (norms, notes, history) is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage (MMKV). Bakia has no access to this data.

Anonymous analytics data is stored on Google Firebase servers with the security measures established by that provider.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your place of residence, you may have rights regarding your data, including access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection to processing. Since we do not store personally identifiable data on our servers, the primary control of your information is on your device.

8. CHILDREN

Plan of Life is not directed to children under 13. We do not intentionally collect data from children under that age. If you are aware that a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can proceed with its deletion.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. When we do, we will update the date at the top of the document. We recommend reviewing it periodically. Your continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
